Chilton Manual says NP203 and 205 were used from 76-79. 205 is a part time and 203 is full time. 203 calls for engine oil and 205 calls for gear oil. I run a combination of Lucas Oil and 85W-140 as per the instructions on the back of the Lucas oil bottle. I have found that my transfer case runs quieter, cooler and it is easier to shift.
