It has trouble cycling and I have disassemblied it to clean the action spring. However, when I go to re-assemble the bolt to the action slide assembly; I am not sure about the bolt buffer. You have to push the carrier release each time. However, it should extract shell from chamber every time, and not double feed. May be a problem there.Ithaca Model 51 will have the barrel removed.
