Subaru crosstrek making noise when off.

I have had my car 8 months and have only had wind noise in two situations. 1. With an aftermarket sunroof delector fitted. 2. With roof crossbars fitted. Both cause the wind noise to get progressively worse from 80kph up. I have removed the deflector permanently and only fit the cross bars when I need them.I purchased a 2019 premium pre owned in October that has now just hit 50,000 miles. Within the past month or so we started hearing a clunking noise only when making a hard right at slow speed. I just had an oil change and added new tires 3 weeks ago and the mechanic didn't notice anything while it was up on the lift.What causes the loud banging noise in my home's pipes? As you can tell, my normal style of driving is a bit harder on the accelerator hence the overall 28.8 mpg since I've had the XV. I do like the tires - they just didn't help with the quiet at highway speeds. I'm going to have the dealer check to make sure everything is sealed right because it does seem a bit noisy.

I get that. I'm just trying to make sure that the noise that I am hearing is normal cvt operation. The noise sounds almost like a cross between a bad ford power steering pump and straight cut gears. Honestly, the Subaru CVT is noisy. Even with the added transmission soundproofing cover (2014 +) you can still hear the metal mesh belt grind sound and some buzzing. I'm not a fan of CVT transmissions because they are quirky and noisy, I crossed them off my list when looking to buy a car.
