With cast, H335 is excellent as long as you have the bullet mass and pressure level so it ignites and burns efficiently. With your 45-70 loads that's where you are. I bought it a both Bass Pro and Brownells this last year, I use it for many calibers. I use it for 300, 350 and 405 jacketed bullet loads.
