That weapon is just extremely good, it carried me all the way to the last boss. High damage, nice scaling (even better with sharp/refined), bleeding (which becomes extremely strong with carthus rouge), good weapon art (especially for chaining hits in pvp). Definitely the best curved sword in my opinion. #6.
Right now it's borderline impossible to score parries reliably with a falchion. The two with the most natural timing right now are the parry dagger and the buckler/target shield.
