Grab hdt smp so the mod outfits have collision and physics (you can also use cbpc which I use along with hdt-smp but don't forget to edit the defaultBBPs.xml file and remove the code).

As for removing it, try devious devices helpers (npc follower can try to remove) or device devices equip. I don't recall if there are se versions up, but the both ported and are working ok for me. Link to comment

I was told that, when this happens, try using SOS MCM menu to tell the game an armor piece (slot 32) is Skimpy. Almost all Devious Devices are invisible. All gloves, boots, corsets, chastity belts, cuffs etc. If it goes on your feet, body or hands, it is invisible. All head gear, collars, plugs, yokes and armbinders are visible though. The only help I have found is "run Bodyslide" but I have already done that, multiple times.
