Check to see if it shows your router's IP (such as 192.168.0.1) or public IPs. Check the TCP/IP v4 properties on your network card to see if you are using static DNS or obtaining them automatically through DHCP. The only fix is to switch isp. Change the DNS server on your device to 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 fixes the issue except for devices that do not allow out to manually configure DNS. Plus you need to manually set the device DNS for every new device or when friends come over house. Very annoying.

I'm guessing this is a DNS services misconfiguration on a Verizon server. A friend suggested setting my broadband connection to use a static IP address temporarily, then returning to Obtain IP Address Automatically in order to reset the connection with Verizon. This makes sense, but seems risky, so I haven't tried it.

Called Verizon tech support and they had not clue. Any help would be appreciated. Using Google to see if other are having the same issues and there are dozen of people with the same issue.
