How to get to edc without shuttle.
The lines were so long to get on the shuttle to and from edc. Like hours. The shuttles were overpacked and HOT (EDC was in June then.) On the way home on night three I was so happy to have a bus with a bathroom. But the WHOLE bus smelled like old pee especially with no air on the bus. When I went to bathroom I saw why.

Given reviews, I did upgrade to one of their renovated rooms which gave a clean spacious living area with typical amenities of a nice hotel. It's located relatively close to the downtown standard shuttle stop and 2 blocks from the golden nugget premium shuttle stop. Wristband received by 5:30pm. Back in line to actually catch the shuttles by 7pm. Get past security and enter the speedway by 9:30pm. Left around 3am and got back to the hotel by 5:30am. Shuttle on the way back was a city bus so people ended up having to stand or sit on the floor. Day 2 Got in shuttle line by 6:30pm. We walked a solid hour to get out of the racetrack area, tried unsuccessfully to get an Uber for another hour, and then finally caught a city-authorized cab that shamelessly gouged us. Shuttles get to go through the Air Force base instead of dealing with the traffic of Ubers, taxis, and regular drivers. A decent little shortcut.
