Gmc acadia shift to park fix.
I won't swear there is an actual solution. My '18 failed at around 18k miles. Per GM, dealer replaced a portion of the wiring harness. That fix only lasted about a month. Dealer then replaced the shifter assembly. That was about 8k miles ago. So far, so good. Some have reported repeat failures. Seems there is a micro switch that fails.

I haven't taken it in yet because I know they won't find anything wrong. I've tried all kinds of things to remedy to no avail.I have a 2017 Acadia Denali with ~133,000 miles. About two months ago I noticed a jerking/shuddering at highway speeds, generally between 50-65mph. This only happens under light acceleration or cruising up a slight incline. If I let off the gas or accelerate harder it goes away.

I have had it on my '18 twice. First time the fix, per GM TSB, was to add a portion of wiring harness. That fix only lasted about a month. Next time, the dealer replaced the shifter assembly. So far so good. The work around is pretty simple. Put it in park and a quick flick of the shifter button will clear the message. Annoying but not a big deal.
