Sep 12, 2019 · So what happens on your diesel is that the the DEF's effectiveness is measured via a pre and post catalyst NoX sensor. Now there apparently is a test procedure that GM uses (still trying to find out more about it) which will evaluate the DEF injector and the NoX sensors. Commonly for your Cruze are bad NoX sensors.
Replace with a 5/8 hose. Cut the hose and install a check valve that allows sure to flow to manifold. Also putting all the pressure on crankcase with blow seals out as well as it could affect oil pressure readings as well. Start there and see what happens.SB-10089945-2280. It seems like the problems really began when you swapped the water pump.
