TB mode is already bogged down as it is. Healers/buffing Clerics, Cyphers and chanters are pretty straight-forward, buffs and heals tend to go off when you cast them. Ranged is stronger than melee in turn based since movement is given for free between attacks. I think that about covers most of it.
That means Paladin's passives, Cipher's Borrowed Instinct and Psychovampiric Shield, accuracy debuffs on enemies and items that boost deflection. Also high Resolve. Paladins can tank, obviously. With deep faith, you have up to +10 deflection, and +20 other defenses. In terms of pure defense stats, Paladin is superior to Fighter. Fighter has the benefit of overbearing guard, but this passive isn't necessary.

Kaylon's post is true. But, i'm personally strongly advice has at least 15 or even 17 DEX (17 DEX is enough to get 20 DEX with equipment). Paladin can't speedup their actions on per-encounter basis as wizards, and to get better feedback on actions is much more important in my taste.Ya completely skipping might is a bad deal imo. Like previous posters aid. Might and Int I think are most important. Can be good idea to get coil of resourcefulness and quick switch as arquebuss in second slot can be very useful for FoD damage maximization. Might even worth to go as aumaua for three slots.
