Finally decided on some Ohlins 774s Blackline. Problems from the start. For about 5 months I have tried to contact Ohlins. Covid, whatever. they proclaimed to open again at beginning of July. Its now end of August. I really wanted to buy some shocks, you know, spend a grand on two shocks. I heard they were good, but Ill never know.
So, all that said Ohlins are great if you have to money to pay for them, and the patience to dial them in. Fox/Racetech are good, and take less dialing in. This is my fourth suspension purchase from Legend. Always the best quality and customer service. I installed Revo Arcs on my new CVO RGST. Although the Showa shocks that come on the CVO RGST are much better than stock Harley shocks, the Revo Arcs are twice as good as the Showa shocks that come standard on the CVO RGST.

They are a sportier ride than stock, so you feel the small stuff a little more, but the bigger stuff is more controlled.After going back and forth between Legends and Ohlins, I went with Ohlins. IIRC, the Ohlins is a standard body and the spring is selected for your weight when you order the shock. Individual shops may elect to adjust the valving on the Ohlins but that is not a factory option. The Wilbers shock is built to order and so the valving can be adjusted during the factory assembly of the shock.
