John deere gator clutch problems.
My comment is that if the clutch is working properly, I would ignore it, reinstall the clutch and enjoy life with your Gator. If that clutch IS giving trouble, I would not put money, time and effort into reconditioning that particular core. I would invest in a rebuildable core and recondition it properly. The fuel regulator inside the fuel tank is causing this problem.The regulator is plastic and will warp causing fuel to leak by and reduce fuel pressure during startup.Your dealer should know about this problem (there is a service bulliton on it) and will be able to fix it.

Operating the Gator for extended periods in high gear or not using low when climbing hills can lead to belt failure. Additionally a sticking clutch can cause premature wear on the belt, overtime this certainly could cause belt failure.
