Hi all, I got my windows tinted about 2 weeks ago and ever since, whenever I turn my car off it gets stuck in accessory mode. I’ve taken it back to the tint shop and they have no idea what’s wrong. It isn't a flaw and you evidently are troubled by that and cant seem to grasp that concept.Cars with accessory mode use power without recharging the battery, as do all other vehicles. Consequently, the short answer is yes. In Hondas, the accessory mode does deplete the battery. As a result, it’s not recommended that you use this mode for long periods of time. The battery could die if you do this.

Sounds like your issue could potentially be a software glitch. I would assume this is a push button to start vehicle.
