A few hotels I’ve looked at are in Retiro, close to Plaza San Martin - is this an okay area to stay? If not, where do you recommend? I have seen both Senor Tango and the show at Cafe de los Angelitos and would recommend them both for different reasons - Senor Tango is a much bigger production (including horses on stage when we were there) while Cafe de los Angelitos is much more intimate and traditional (with better food).
