Stellaris Ship Design Guide 2.2 |Battleships| Battleships, the real warhorses of your galactic army. The largest ship without a build limit, these will be your biggest and baddest of your ships minus the Titans and Juggernaut. My second fleet is often either entirely corvettes for a rapid response skirmisher fleet, to run around scooping up low priority targets while the main fleet deals with the enemies, and then a fleet of pure battleships for extra punch in the main battles. Occasionally they'll happen in the other order depending on circumstances.

Stellaris MOST OP Start/Build. Tip. I've been playing this game for 8 years now (since it first came out) and this is in my opinion the current strongest build. For your consideration: Megacorp with Imperial Fiefdom origin and Mercenary civics (Letters of Marque, Naval Contractors, etc.) and science Chief Executive with spark of genius.Shields or armor to counter their weapons and mass drivers or lasers to counter their shields or armor. A well armed fleet can defeat a larger fleet if they are match well. Another tactic is to try to fight them at your stations until you've beaten them back enough. Then go on the offensive when they are weakened. 4.1. cybertex1969 • 7 yr. ago. I did a (very few) tests about battleship weapons. For me, and for now, I found a working mix: a battleship class armed only with tachion lance (TL class), and a class armed with point defense, flak and torpedoes, just to fill the slots (PD class). Optionally, cruiser and destroyer equipped with point defense and ...By around year 2300 and fully upgraded, they have a fleet power around 200K. By 2350, it's closer to 300K, and you can bump it up closer to 400K with ship boon edicts. Comparatively, both myself and the AI tends to have fleets closer in the 100K fleet power levels by that time.

Battleships are king, they're the best ship. Once you have them, build nothing else (except titans). 70% of your battleships should have an X slot with a giga cannon and 4 L slots with neutron launchers. 30% should have an X slot with giga cannon, 1 L slot with neutron, and the carrier core with 2 strike craft.

Anyway the build is you put a Neutron Launcher in the L slot an artillery bow, and a M Plasma in the stern that has a single M slot. In the AUX slot you put a tracking computer and generally stack things that increase range (so artillery computer, and use a cautious admiral). The "Meta" Battleship. Tachyon Lance, 3 Neutron Launchers, 2 Kinetic ...

Missile Cruiser the long-range missile cruiser is a very solid mid-game option. It has great range, and with 3 Afterburners can be reasonably quick.Leader Builds are the meta now. Discussion. I made a necroids leader build and I easily hit lvl 10 for both my leader and my military council member that is also commanding my main fleet. The result was that was able to achieve around 45k fleet power on just one fleet alone before 2250. Stupid powerful.Paradox has given a lot of thought to strategy and weapon types. For example, Battleships and Cruisers are best used at range while Corvettes and Destroyers are better close up. If you had a fleet of just battleships at 50k go up against a fleet of corvettes at 40k the corvettes stand a good chance of winning. I think there are a lot of factors going into this. Different builds want different ratios, or no ratio at all and just field a single ship type. Whatever you're building for determines what your fleets should look like. I usually use 1 titan, 4 battleships, 8 cruisers, 12 destroyers and 20 - 40 corvettes per fleet. So that means each anchorage base is 36 + 60% = 57.6 naval capacity.Depends who your neighbours are. If you can convince them to be friendly maybe you won't need any fleet at all. But if someone is interested in an early war, you have to build a fleet in 2230. If they decide to fight they will already be on your border on 01.01.2230 ready to declare war, so you also need to have fleet in position.Normal AI don't focus on anything and just build 50/50 shield and armor and 50/50 anti shield anti armor, so there's not much to counter build. "Special" AI like the Fallen Empire and Crisis Empires do have specific builds so you can counter build them and turn a close defeat into a rage stomp victory Always lean towards one focus on defense.I have personally encountered frigates and raiders, but there are more. There's also a "battleship" you get from the cultist event chain. I'm mad you can't take them apart to get their tech, early game they are usually quite a bit better than your stuff. Generally no idea why you can't get some resources back, you just scrap them completely.

You want thousands of fleet capacity, like 3000-4000 range. I now do challenge mode with starnet mod using necrophage fanatic purifiers for the scaling 33% bonus fleet cap. Retire fleet admiral governors are critical to save on ship construction costs, so much so that I will construct habitats just so I can make a new sector for shipyards.

I think there are a lot of factors going into this. Different builds want different ratios, or no ratio at all and just field a single ship type. Hello, After couple of hours of spreadsheets and playthroughs on GA 4x All Crisis (0,25 habitable worlds) , I have made my statement which can help people to find their 3.6 fleet composition. Legend : O : mediocre performance but shine in number. What I learnt is : Carrier decimates corvettes, frigates and destroyers. Its enough for my playstyle so I don't feel the need to build too many unity producing worlds. For buildings in general you want to build whatever your specialisation needs (mineral purification hub for mining, agri-conplex on agri-worlds, alloy and consumer good factories on industry worlds, etc) and a holo-theatre to keep your pops happy.Last edited by DIEROBOTSDIE ; Nov 25, 2021 @ 11:02am. #1. Silamon Nov 25, 2021 @ 10:58am. If you specialize against it you can beat it with a much lower fleet. The dragon's fleet power is around 50k. With a focus on energy and shields you can probably beat it around 20k. #2.
