Get all the skills you need to transfer to Izanagi to those two first before fusing, obviously. 2nd tip: Magician Arcana Chance will help you get skills you couldn't learn from Obariyon-Shikome fusing. No Persona, other than the later game ones, are worth keeping really. You need to be fusing constantly, once a Persona learns all of its skills (and even before then really) it's time to move on and fuse it off.
