There are different options for the size of the account 25k, 50k, 100k etc… personally I use the 50k accounts. The way it works is you pay a set monthly rate for the accounts i.e. $80 per month for the 50k accounts - you have a 2500 draw down so if you lose 2500 you have to reset the account for $90.

So in this context Tradovate is superior if you're intra day/ day swing trading. NT is better if you know to code or want highly customizable systems to manage trades & you do not let your system go inactive. I like lifetime on NinjaTrader. Reliable but pricey but it's a lifetime account so ohwell.
