The lights have been a major issue for a while now and the wipers have themselves at times. This is an excellent example of why the first place to start when you have a starting and/or electrical problem is the battery and charging system. New batteries can be bad or go bad, especially if they sit unused for an extended period of time. Yes the pump can be intermittent when it is dying. If the engine cranks briskly, your battery may be ok. You need fuel, spark, and compression to run. So, you are missing a least one. Have you tried battery reset to see if taking all of the systems back to zero helps? The first time the issue showed up was when I pushed the start button and took longer than usual to fire up.

After a couple days, the truck started and ran as normal, started on the first key turn every time. Fast forward to this week, and the intermittent start issue is back. Sometimes the truck starts on the first key turn, sometimes it starts on the 4th or 5th. Never cranks, just clicks once. Then this morning it just didn't start.

No problem with the exhaust hitting the underbody. Tried remote start while under the car to no avail. Thought about the sub woofer and removed the 27 and 37 fuses which power the radio and sub woofer to no avail. No check engine light illuminated and no codes stored. I have been to 3 dealers with this problem and opened a case with Dodge.

Mar 6, 2017 · My guess is the pump is the issue. Repop pumps, like sensors and thermostats, aren't very good. Try priming it by pressing the start button with no brake for a few seconds. Then if it starts with the brake / Start button then it's the fuel pump not holding it's pressure.
