That warranty sounds about right. My car had similar warranty options. I chose 5years/100k mileage with a $300 deductible for $3.4k. The max mileage they offerred up to was 5years/125k mileage and I almost went for that but it was above $4k and put me out of budget. In my opinion, my car did not live up to the Carmax promises.
