After filling the cooking pot with water and drinking from it I am unable to remove the cooking pot from my hands. Restarting my game fixes the issue until I fill the pot up and drink from it again.

So putting the cooking pot on a gas cooker breaks it, so you have to fix it with the GAS torch which is even hotter.... can repair anything metal wise with it now barrels sheet metal etc. never used a damaged one - because I only use campfires and somthing like this - but good to know. Thanks.

It’s absolutely plausible this was changed when ovens were expanded and frying pans added, but I think it pretty much is just a ‘natural’ replacement for the cooking tripod. Added some screenshots and a link to the video for clarity. I know on ps4 you can cook directly on the oven.
