Dec 18, 2023 · Mysterious, captivating novel. This book is fascinating and I learned so much I had never learned before. Ruta Sepetys is one of my absolute favorite authors when it comes to historical fiction. There is some romance and graphic scenes, but it is mostly clean. In order to truly understand this book, though, I recommend ages 13+.
