If I were to buy a bone-stock 5.0L right now, a 190 lph fuel pump would be one of my first mods. As far as a max HP rating, I'm not positive but it couldn't be much over 225.Goto Broaderperformance.com and buy their 500hp rebuild kit, it comes wit a skift kit for a stock style valve body. I personally purchased this kit and opted to not include the shift kit which made the kit like 50-60 dollar cheaper. Then I also purchased a welded forward drum. This is the highly recommended way to build a C4 to handle 500hp.but i did find a good combination for $10,500. It scares me to think that the e16g kit could fatigue the stock crank that badly at those power levels in a couple of years.
