D applied through Pitt system on 9/9 and never received any email about the application. We checked the Pitt system on 9/14 and saw the accept/decline buttons. Then 24 hrs later, the acceptance letter appeared in the document center. No email communication whatsoever from Pitt even up to now.

Pitt is still a more affordable option for those who will not qualify for need-based aid. My Pitt junior got $5 K a year OOS and paying $45 K a year is a huge improvement over paying $85 K a year at a private school. Their health careers opportunities are fantastic, I went to 2 Ivy League schools and am constantly in awe of all she is participating in at Pitt.Not an expert here but Pitt encourages you to apply early and the earlier the better the chance with rolling admissions.
