It uses crystal shards for ammo charges and doesnt need any arrows to shoot. U get 2000 crystals shards from breaking down crystal items which u can use to corrupt the bowfa so that it has infinite charges for ammo. The crystal armor will still need charges even if u color it. For a main it is better to not corrupt the bowfa. It takes 130 hours of constantly firing a bowfa to use up all the charges 2k crystal shards would have given. If you ever plan on selling the bowfa later, then corrupting is a waste of gp. The only other realistic alternative while going dry for bowfa is crystal bow+crystal armour. I have no idea how it compares to rcb but id imagine it is better marginally. Would have to dps calc it. Rcb is serviceable though, I was running 250-350's with it and even got masori backpack with it and similar gear.

Venge tank with cannon. There's a video of a zero damage prayer flick method with thralls and cannon. You have to be a fucking gamer tho but it's technically the best method without craws.
