These troops are leaps and bonds better than any tier 5 troop due to having skills up to 260 when tier 5 can only go up to 160. On top of this they have some of the best armor and weapons in the game. But some tier 6 troops are better than others.

I made a post a few years back asking for something similar, and I got 40% infantry, 40% ranged, and 20% Cavalry. The Infantry would act as a wall while the ranged troops did most of the work, and keep the cavalry in reserve to deal with enemy units out of the ranged troop's range, or trying to flank the formation.

Empire infantry is tanky and easily replenished, so a good middle ground. Valandian units in general will lose in a straight up fight against a similar army but they are versatile as hell. Khuzait infantry have large shields and seem to be more specialized toward anti-calvalry, they don't do too hot against other infantry though in my experience.Vlandian Pikemen are really lousy and outclassed by Vlandian Sergeants. Imperial Palatine Guards seem almost completely outclassed by Imperial Sergeant Crossbowmen. It's either the crossbowmen or Bucellarii imo. They get trampled easily by cavalry as soon as the cavalry hit their formation, and pelted easily by archers before they can even get close enough to deal damage.
